We are pleased to announce that Patrick Halde is joining Vention as VP Business Development. In his role, Patrick will be responsible for industry and distribution partnerships, with an initial focus on the collaborative robot segment.

"I believe Vention is uniquely positioned to serve the various stakeholders in the collaborative robot market. Our value proposition of self-serve 3D design platform combined with custom equipment that ships next day is highly in-tune with the ongoing democratization taking place in the robotic industry" says Patrick.

Beyond driving Vention's strategic partnership agenda, Patrick will also lead the development of the distributor and certified partner network from a service agreement, customer support and training standpoint.

"I am thrilled to see Patrick join our team at this point in time" says Etienne Lacroix, CEO of Vention. "Working closely with our various cobot partners over the last year, we know there is much more we can do to further add value to our partners' operations. Having a senior leader dedicated to the cobot segment will help accelerate our efforts in this direction."

Before joining Vention, Patrick worked at McKinsey & Company where he was part of the IoT practice. Patrick holds an MBA from INSEAD, as well as a graduate degree in information technology and B.B.A. from HEC Montreal.
